Karen Gleason, David Mosrie, Craig Severance and David Weeks have recently relocated to Keller Williams Professionals and collectively reformed The Gleason Team. We are excited about this opportunity and, after many years of a less than ideal market, the future now looks bright. The collective talents of our team, our vast level of combined experience and our unique way of doing real estate with the highest level of service and integrity, we see this as an opportunity to bring a fresh approach to Asheville real estate. Those of you who have worked with us in the past I think will agree that no one does it quite like us!
 
We have quickly assumed a formidable presence in many sectors, including our long established presence in the urban green building scene, the creation of affordable condo opportunity on Kimberly Avenue in Grove Park, as well as a broad selection of other opportunities from West Asheville to Biltmore Forest.
 
Karen, who has been active in the industry for over 15 years. As Team Leader, she brings leadership and an undeniable energy and passion to the team. She is widely known around town as the “Bungalow Queen of Asheville” and has been featured on HGTV and elsewhere many times. She has been recognized for her service in the local arts and non-profit community many times over the course of her career.
 
Dave Mosrie, recognized as one of the leading experts in the region on Green Building & Development, has assumed the role of Team Manager for the team. David has been published many times on the topic of green building here in WNC, most recently in Environmental Design + Construction (http://www.edcmag.com/Articles/Featured_Special_Sections/BNP_GUID_9-5-2006_A_10000000000000787048 to view the article), and has served as a consultant, builder and designer on many projects in his nearly 20 years in the field. 
 
Craig Severance and Dave Weeks round out the team. Each brings many years of experience to the table and has served in a range of capacities in the real estate business.
 
As a whole, The Gleason Team offers a full range of real estate related services and can work with clients ranging from first time buyers to experienced developers, giving each the guidance they need to achieve their individual real estate goals. We take great pride in bringing the same effort and expertise to client that are buying a $35,000 lot as we do to multi-million dollar investors.
 
The Gleason Team is a firm believer in giving back to the community, as shown over our many years of group and individual community-related efforts. We have recently formed strategic partnerships with the Western North Carolina Alliance, WNC’s oldest environmental advocacy organization, as well as with Wild South, a highly regarded protector of our unique Appalachian environmental resources, whereby The Gleason Team will donate 10% of all WNCA and Wild South referral commissions back to those organizations to help them keep up the fight to protect that which makes WNC and Asheville such a magical place to call home. We continue to find ways to give back, and have worked with Katrina victims, supported the Lexington Avenues Arts Fair and Dining Out for Life, as well as worked closely with the WNC Green Building Council, just to name a few, in recent years.
